COMMUNITY SERVICE

Community service is an activity for Milpitas High students to encourage the act of giving back to our community. 20 hours of community service is a requirement to graduate. However, if you receive 150+ hours, you receive a maroon cord as an award to wear at graduation. Milpitas High does not count hours by semester or by year; they count your hours until April of your senior year. There are multiple ways you could achieve your hours, such as service clubs like Key Club, Interact, Red Cross, UNICEF, etc. Mrs. Canez also sends volunteer opportunities daily via email, so check your student email. For more information, visit Mrs. Canez in the Community Service Center at J-15.

Visit the Community Service Website for more information about how you can submit your service hours and service opportunities!
